Will return; home made tortillas and excellent mole dish ( Lupita dish)...salsa was good and so was everything else.

I really liked the quality of food at this place. Portion wise, a lot of food for one person. They also bake the cornbread in their kitchen, and they are super fresh. The burrito sauce is very delicious. The food is not very spicy, though. Also, our server (CRUZ) was very polite and helped us to have an enjoyable experience. Try this place; you won't regret it!!

There are so many Mexican restaurants to choose from. This one is however my favorite by far. The location previously held multiple other restaurants that "didn't make it" for one reason or another. When San Marcos went in I thought " well the others didn't last so why would another one last?" Well let me tell you why - their food is excellent! Having spent many years living in Arizona I can tell you the closest thing to it is Macayo's there. The portions are large, the price is median - the service is good although sometimes when they aren't busy they are too frequently there but better to be taking care of you then disappearing! The interior decor is fun, festive, low lighting creates a very warm feeling. to top it off they have an amazing outdoor patio area to enjoy our warmer months at! Frequently when I go the manager stops by to see how things are. Overall I have never had a bad experience so wanted to give a shout out!

The ambiance of Mexican culture embraces you as you walk into the door. I thought to myself, I KNOW this food is going to be delicious!! The restaurant was very clean. (I always visit the restroom first. If a restroom is dirty, I probably won't eat anything.) The staff was amazing. My order was cooked to perfection! This is my new Mexican restaurant of choice! Highly recommend!
